W.A.S.P.: No New Music Until 2004
September 9, 2003According to a posting on W.A.S.P.'s official web site, www.waspnation.com, "the highly anticipated new albums by W.A.S.P. will be in stores next year as a two-part series. The first album will be out worldwide in February of 2004 and the second album, part two of the story, will be released in late April/early May 2004.
"Although there were previous plans for its release towards the end of this year, the date has been postponed due to the complexity and duration of the recordings."
W.A.S.P.'s new album, which is rumored to be titled "The Neon God", will surface through Sanctuary Records. Producer Bill Metoyer (SLAYER, FATES WARNING, SACRED REICH) is reportedly helming the recordings, which are taking place in Los Angeles.
